Taylor’s Adult Family home offers a warm, dignified alternative to nursing home care. We work closely with the family, doctors, and other health professionals to promote independence and quality of life. Our goal is to respect each resident's dignity, privacy and individuality.
We provide assistance with personal Taylor's Adult Family Home was originally built in 1934. It has the charm of yesteryear, but has been remodeled to accommodate six residents with private rooms. It features a family room, kitchenette, and a large bathroom with walk-in shower and Jacuzzi. The rooms are furnished or unfurnished as per your choice. We are an ADA approved adult home. Our home is bright and cheery. Our home has a wonderful park-like setting . We encourage our residents to bring with them their interests and hobbies, and to make our home their home. Sharon Taylor owns and operates Taylor's Adult Family Home. She has worked in the health care profession for 30 years and has a long standing background and knowledge of medications and care giving. She is dedicated and committed, and believes that care giving is what an Adult Family Home should be about. She works closely with each resident's family to achieve effective, professional levels of care in all aspects of daily living. Sharon is aided by a staff of 4 caregivers who are responsible and caring and are thoroughly screened. They are state certified and have 10 or more hours of continuing education every year. Sharon and her staff work together as a team to provide a safe and caring environment for all of the residents. Taylor's Adult Family Home is located in the Seattle/ Burien area west of SeaTac airport.
